Need ideas for a Senior Class song

I will be graduating this spring and am a class officer and need to have the class song. But I could use some guidance on suggestions or criticism on songs I have thought about. Thanks.

My mind reading is failing me. What are the songs you have thought about?

My class song was Welcome to the Jungle. Not sure why.

My first thought was The Man in Me - Bob Dylan

For my class song we had to use a song from that year, so we used some Eve 6 song. I think it was This is the night..or something like that.

If you can choose any song, I'm sure Semisonic's Closing Time is a big hit.

I've suddenly grown very bitter that I graduated the year that "Graduation" song by Vitamin C came out.
I urge you with every fiber of my being to not suggest that song.

I had some lame Celine Dion song, but my girlfriend's senior prom song was We've Got Tonight - Bob Seger.

I was impressed a bunch of high schoolers would pick such a great classic. Can't go wrong with that one.

Graduated in 93. Have no freakin' clue what my class song was.

"Baba O'Riley" is a great choice though.

Is this for the final dance/prom or for graduation?

My prom song was "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel.

May I suggest Twisted Sister?

The only song that I can think of that would truly be magical for everyone is:

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN by EUROPE.

The prom song was "I Will Remember You" by Sarah McLachlan so I assume that was the senior song too.

Heh.. at least you didn't graduate in 1992. I think the class song that year for about 95% of the US was that stupid Boys2Men song "It's so hard to say goodbye..."

I think that was our school's 92 song as well. Wasn't "The End of the Road" a big one the next year?
