I'm trying to compile a list of spy movies if you could help by naming some so I could compile a huge list I would be grateful. Thanks

Ill go with the obvious. The James Bond and Bourne movies are spy movies I guess Spy Game would be a good one too.

Ronin, with Robert DeNiro and Jean Reno.

The Tailor of Panama, with Pierce Brosnan and Geoffrey Rush.

And of course The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy with Matt Damon.

I tend to prefer spy movies that tend to stay somewhat grounded, without the over-the-top skydiving, bungee jumping, generic evil bad guys, or casting of Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist.

They did about 300 spy movies in Europe in the mid 60's. Check the EuroSpy Guide, it's a great book.

Michael Caine as Harry Palmer in The Ipcress File (1965), Funeral in Berlin (1966), The Billion Dollar Brain (1967), Bullet to Beijing (1995) and Midnight in St. Petersburg (1996). He has also starred in these other spy films, The Jigsaw Man (1983), and The Holcroft Covenant (1985), The Fourth Protocol (1987), Blue Ice (1992).

Well, a lot of the spy films I would've named have already been mentioned, but if you are looking to watch something about spies you can't do any better than the TV series Alias. The pilot episode alone blows away most spy films. It's incredibly addictive, especially for the first two or three seasons.

How about the late Dean Martin as Matt Helm in The Silencers (1966), Murderer's Row (1966), The Ambushers (1967), and The Wrecking Crew (1969).
