From the press release...
How much of a sale remains to be seen. The Lombard store is probably the closest one to me, but I highly doubt it will be worth the drive.
CompUSA has contract with Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, LLC to act as the agent to conduct store-closing sales.

Store 179 Del Amo (Torrance, CA)
This one sucks ass. It used to be Good Guys! then they closed it and turned it into CompUSA. The one at the South Bay Galleria is "better" anyway. With that said, I haven't bought anything at either store in years.

I saw the signs driving on Hawthorne of a 20% sale on EVERYTHING in the STORE last week and was wondering why a CUSA store that recently opened (in the last year or so) was having such a good sale.

I saw a guy holding a sign today(Sat 8/19) saying 30% off at that store.

Saw signs for the closing in Syracuse. Actually one of the guys they hired to hold the signs near the mall was in an argument with one of the local homeless. Apparently the sign guy was on his turf.

I bought a Mac Mini that retails for $799 yesterday - they only have 10% off on computers, but it was something that I was planning on buying soon and was already at the mall.

Yeah I went in the other day and saw that. Once you get there it's, "Up to 30%" off". But still, 360 games for under $60 isn't a bad deal. But I still didn't buy anything.
