Garry Shandling was on a talk show and said they were compiling a best of set. the first season sold horribly, which is a shame, as the last two or three seasons are perfect and would fit in well with an Arrested Development-type fanbase. they should consider releasing the last season instead of season two and working their way backwards, it would help sales.

Of course, one of the reasons the first season sold poorly was that it was just about the worst quality DVD ever. Not that the studio would ever take something like that into account.

I think the home DVD market has really grown since that show has been released, and it's a great time to market that series once again. Like somebody else said, it would be a perfect fit for the Arrested Development crowd. If they would just market it towards people who like that kind of TV, and do better on the quality, then I think the sets would do better.

Good points about the marketing and quality...other satirical shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office (BBC), The Newsroom, Arrested Development, etc. seem to find their audience on DVD. The LSS had a good run on tv and in syndication, so it does seem that the studio could release it at an affordable price with decent quality and still make a profit.
