Last time.

The list comes from the DVD Talk release list HERE. If there are any issues with any of the releases, take it up with them (or Amazon). I'm not going to surf the 'net making sure each and every DVD will be released that day and that I have every.single.DVD. in creation that will be released that particular day on the list. I get the list from the aforementioned release list (and sometimes, if I remember, i'll add things not on the list that i'm getting).

However, that's where you guys come in. Since this is a DVD discussion forum, you could point out "So & So will also be released this day" (that happens a lot with WWE DVDs -- and I get those). I know gutwrencher regularly posts obscure (to the mainstream) discs that he plans on getting.

Perhaps i'm taking this a bit more personal than I should, but this is not the first time i've seen a disparaging post like this from you (most other times it's about the poll - "I can't believe "so & so" is not on the list". You click the Amazon link, you'll see they state "Wanda" will be out on Tuesday. End of story.

But thanks for relaying the information.

Let's be quite clear here; though I have certainly, admittedly said disparaging things in the past regarding what options get listed in your weekly polls, this specific post was not in any way disparaging--it contains nothing but factual information that you can use or disregard as you see fit. I only mentioned it because if you have a way of editing the poll options, you could swap out FISH with some other option, again, if you see fit to do so; if you choose not to, then my post is at least beneficial to readers who may mistakenly get excited about a new release that will be found nowhere on Tuesday. Sorry if I've cried foul too many times, but this time was not meant to be any insult to you or this poll.

There is no way of editing the poll. I've also asked if there was any way to get more options and was told it wasn't possible.

I agree 110% that your post is beneficial, but I also probably wouldn't have taken issue with it had you just made it a general statement ("Hey guys, DVDactive.com says Wanda's been delayed" instead of "the list you use is out of date" (the inflection is mine)). But, like I said before, I probably wouldn't have read it this way had it not been for past posts made by yourself and others.

However, I did check Amazon, and it does say it'll be released. Oh well. Guess we'll find out on Tuesday.

Fair enough; I apologize for saying "your" instead of "the"; I truly wasn't trying to target you in any way. However, you are the one in control of which ten titles are listed for the poll options, so I still fully intend to call you out on bad choices for those slots in the future...

it goes from God to Jerry to...oh wait...it goes from "Major Studio/"Popular" Release" to "Fanboy Release" to "Cinematic Elitist Release" to "What Rogue588's buying" Criterions are always a lock for a slot.

Though, sometimes "What Rogue588's buying" might supercede that pattern...
