Justice League back in form of new animated movie?

Perhaps, kinda sorta:

http://www.ew.com/ew/report/0,6115,1217345_7_0_,00.html

Superman has returned. Batman has begun again too. Might we ever see these Super Friends share the screen?

Count on it, true believers—but not in the flesh.

EW has learned that Warner Bros. is developing what could be the greatest spandex story ever told. The concept doesn't only involve the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight, but their cohorts in the Justice League of America, too. The animated movie—part of a larger superhero-related Warner media initiative—is likely to be based upon a famous comic saga. One possibility: an adaptation of Identity Crisis, a 2004 murder-mystery smash written by novelist Brad Meltzer that could be used to launch the likes of Green Arrow and The Flash into their own films, 'toon or otherwise. One request: No Gleek, please.

Keep checking with EW.com for future developments.

There's a thread in the DVD forum about this. I'm more excited about DC putting movies to DVD than Marvel just for the fact that they're taking stories I've read and enjoyed already instead of trying to come up with something "new and exciting".

Interesting. Sad the show ended the way it did, though.

I don't think the show ended in a bad way. In fact, It had a pretty good ending for the series at the end of season 2. Season three wrapped things up pretty well.

I'm not happy that the series ended. I can't say I am unhappy with the way it ended.

Marvel hasn't really done much other then the Avengers movies, have they?

I'm looking forward to the Doomsday movie myself, since Bruce Timm is involved.

I guess we'll agree to disagree. The ending plain sucked.

BOOMERANG was doing some kind of JL marathon Sunday morning. I guess the show will start airing there 7 days a week.

Oh ok. I wasn't aware of that. I don't have cable/Satt at home and I've never even watched Boomerang previous to last Sunday.

Speaking of JL on Boomerang, are they ever going to show the JLU episodes? They're already on their second cycle through the JL episodes, but last time they went right from "Wild Card" and that Christmas episode... skipped Starcrossed... and went to Secret Origins.
