I looked at these same ones last night at Target and they were $13.99 so as original poster says YMMV.

Quick! Someone price check Band of Brothers. Isn't this how that unbelievable "sale" happened last year? Jaws was on sale when it wasn't supposed to be.

Well, I can dream can't I?

I picked up The Longest Day and Patton at the local Hastings for $6.99 each --just too cheap to pass up.

I was the OP of the Jaws post. What an epic "sale" that was.

I still price-check Band of Brothers and other boxsets from time to time at Target. Epic indeed; I made out like the bandit kings of old on that day.

And I still don't have BOB I do the same thing every now and then scanning it too.

Tonight I picked up Tora!Tora!Tora!, The Longest Day, and The Towering Inferno, thanks again OP.

These were all $10 each at the Target in Bedford, not $9.99, but who's counting pennies! I had stopped at the Amherst store a few minutes before and couldn't find them anywhere.
The Bedford store is the newest in the area and has a huge wall of dvds! Way more than any Target I've ever been in.

There were also a bunch of other titles on the $10 Sale wall (these are all regularly $13.78):
Legends Of The Fall
A River Runs Through It
The Breakfast Club
Sixteen Candles
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Ghostbusters 1&2
I Heart Huckabees
Broken Flowers

lots more...just can't remember
