If this set doesn't have "Nighty Night Bugs" (the only Oscar winner) on it, I'm going to be just a bit put out.
I have no idea how we're three sets in and haven't seen it yet. It's also the theme for the Bugs Bunny water ride at Six Flags...complete with castle and the cartoon playing nonstop while you wait in line!

For those who like Speedy, that disc will be a hit, but it just underscores my wish that these had been character-themed, chronological sets. I guess this is Warner's way of getting those characters' shorts out there, but I've never liked the Speedy and Road Runner shorts, and find it a bit annoying that I have to pay extra for them. To each their own though, and everyone usually has something they like on these as they now stand. But honestly, if you've seen one Speedy/Road Runner 'toon, haven't you seen them all?

I'm pretty excited about the Speedy disc if for no other reason than that it includes "Mexicali Shmoes," one of the only two appearances of Speedy's cousin, Slowpoke Rodriguez. Hopefully, the disc will also have his other appearance ("Mexican Boarders").

Silly me...I thought the OP had cut/pasted the text from the announcement below the link.
Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing. I also wonder if they are going to change the Spanish dubbing like they did with the other versions, because they are hillarious in the original spanish track, and contain a lot of un-pc stuff including many marijuana references.

I'd say "yay for Speedy" too if I was sure I'd enjoy them still. I still enjoy watching all the others to this day, but not having seen the Speedy ones in so long, I hope it's not just nostalgia making me want them.
Either way, let's hope they don't try to soften them and make them PC. I'm still expecting to see something like the Leonard Maltin intros on the Disney discs.

Speaking of Speedy, has anyone ever seen his first appearance, with the cats Benny and George? THAT one is definitely not PC. Just to describe the way he looked, he had disheveled black hair and a gold tooth, and his "accent" was more pronounced. I'm curious to see if that one makes it to the disc - if it does, it WILL have a Leonard Maltin intro as a disclaimer!
