I am looking for a movie that was made probably in the late 80s. I saw it first when I was in middle school (I graduated in 98). The movie was about these boys, probably around 12 years old, who had to go rescue a girl who had been kidnapped. The girl was also around 12 and was being held in a cave on the far side of a deep canyon. That's all I remember about the movie. I think the title had the work Dragon in it, but I'm not sure. I AM very sure it was not one of the 3 Ninjas movies though.

Any info offered would be of great help.

Clicking on your thread just made me feel really, really old. When you said "old movie", I was expecting something from the 30's-50's. Setting that aside, I think you would have gotten more views (thereby more help) if you had gone with a thread title closer to "looking for title of 1980's family film" or something to that effect.

I don't think I can be of much help on your question, the only thing that comes to mind (but since you hang around here you'd likely already be familiar with it if it was what you were looking for) would the "The Goonies" from 1985. But that'd only work with quite a bit of stretching of your description. Anyway, maybe this bump will get some others to take a look and maybe get you your answer. Good luck.

No, it's not the Goonies. I do know that. I did a search on IMDB last night for any movie with "Dragon" in the title, but I didn't find it, so I may be wrong about that.
