Xbox 360 Voice Conference???
Before the 360 came out, MS was saying how 'easy' the online experience would be... Chatting with friends, joining them in games, etc...
My co-workers and I all just got Battlefield Modern Combat. Great game... But we cannot seem to figure out how to:
1. Open up a chat session for all of us. Like a conference in Yahoo Chat. Is this possible?
2. We also cannot figure out how to have a private game with just the 8 of us...
Is this an EA limitation?

For the 360 games, it should have put you in the game chat channel. You can check it by pressing the guide button in the game to bring up the mini-dashboard. Select Private Chats. Make sure it is set to Battlefield 2 channel.
You can private chat with a person on your friends list, but at this time, you can only private chat with one person.
Not sure on the private game thing. It varies for each game. And I only played a little of BF2 single player.

The only way would be to play an eight player game with video support. Think Uno with 8 player support. I'm fairly sure 360 dashboard v-chat will only support one on one, just like the private chat.

you either need to be in the game channel or private, i think you'll only allowed three other people in private though
