The local Wal-Mart put out a big cardboard display by the front door full of Warner 2-disc SEs for about $9.99 each. Some of these were in FYE's $4.99 rebated Warner SE sale and some were in DDD's sale and some were in Best Buy's buy 1 get 1 half off sale or whatever that was. Anyway, it's Wal-Mart's turn and some of these were NOT in any previous sales. Here's what I can remember:
Batman 1 through 4
Blade 2
Dog Day Afternoon
Chariots of Fire
Network
All the President's Men
Amadeus
Purple Rain
Magnolia
Boogie Nights
Se7en
Also, at a different Wal-Mart, there was an endcap in the main DVD section with a lot of TV boxed sets for $19.99 each. I picked up Cheers 1 and 2. Would love to find Cheers 3-5 for the same price. I also saw Futurama and a lot more. This seems to replace the Superman endcap display that's been up.

The TV endcap has been out for a few weeks now. I thought it was reported on here at DVDTalk. I know it was mentioned by me and another person over at CAG. I'll have to copy and paste that the CAGs and I compiled and bring it here if it wasn't already previously mentioned. Thanks for this info though. I was at my Walmart which is usually in on these deals yesterday night, and they did not have any such endcap placed (perhaps yet) so this may be a YMMV situation. Still, I ordered Amadeus, Se7en, and Dog Day Afternoon from DDD and my Tower finally fixed their computer so that Network and Magnolia were this price. I think this sale also went on at Target.
I still haven't decided on whether or not I'll get All the President's Men and/or Chariots of Fire.

Here is what I think is the original thread:

There is a pretty comprehensive list towards the bottom of the thread (post #24).
At my WMs (there are 2, both Super WM) these are NOT on an endcap but in a section directly behind the "regular" DVDs between an endcap and the Kids DVDs. Some very good deals and they appear to be the new "regular" prices.

I think I also saw Married with Children season 3 and Tales From the Crypt Season 1 for $19.99. Dr. Katz M.D. was also apart of the endcap, but at $13 I believe..

Tried two of my Walmarts, both had the TV endcaps but, to my dismay, neither had the Warner SEs...

I'm in the Sacramento area and only one of three Walmarts had the display (Yes for El Camino and no for the Rocklin and Truxel stores).

Anybody know how long this deal will last? I know the Tower one runs until the 8th, but I'm still onthe fence about getting a couple of these.

FYI, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, Brooklyn Park, Blaine, and both Rochester, Minnesota stores DO NOT have display up either in the front of the store or in the electronics department. The titles "are not even in the inventory" according to two Walmart employees.
I am assuming that this Warner display replaces the Superman one in the Walmart stores?

Dyso, I'll try to get over to the Shakopee store and check. That's one of the "super" WalMarts.

"Super" walmarts around here don't have it either.
It may be that it's supposed to go up this week (tuesday the 25th 12am-ish) and that some stores just got it early.
I'm hoping that's the case anyway...

Just got back from Sam's Club in Jackson, TN. There carrying all of the titles listed for the same price....so, for those of you having trouble finding these at WM, you may want to check there.

If, of course, you've got a membership, which I very definitely do not :\

Another FYI, Eden Prairie, Brooklyn Park, and Blaine normal WalMarts and the Maple Grove and Shakopee “super” stores in Minnesota still do not have the displays up near the front or in the electronics departments. I asked a few employees from the stores listed and one of them literally stated, “There isn’t a Batman 2-disc set that I know off, but we do have Batman Begins somewhere.” I asked if he could look up Chariots of Fire or Amadeus (to my knowledge, Amadeus has not been part of a previous sale, as JediJones stated in first post), and he looked at me with a puzzled look and stated, “Are those movies? Never heard of those…”
I don’t have a membership to Sam’s Club, so I am unable to check those locations...

Most Sam's will let you in to 'browse', or you can go to the customer service desk and get a 'one day pass', which will let you purchase things at an upcharge [ 5 or 15%, I forget which] though I don't think they take checks with the one day pass. If you get a membership, you can apply that upcharge to the membership. Some Sam's Clubs also have gas stations which have cheaper member prices than the neighbouring stations.
I need to hunt down Futurama for 13.99.
