Surprised there has been no mention of this. I searched for the word Gondry and came up with nothing so here it goes.

Looks to be another excellent, entertaining, original film by the one and only Michel Gondry. Can't wait!

Thanks, I've been waiting to see a trailer for this.
Gael García Bernal, Gainsbourg and Gondry directing? Nuff said.

This flick has a score of 6.0 on IMDB so far, but who knows how honest that is or not.
Speaking of Gondry, boy does this (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0799934/) ever sound interesting!
EDIT:
Also, ever since Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (ended up being my favorite film...ever), I'll watch anything that Michel Gondry is a part of, period. I can't wait for The Science of Sleep, etc...

For the fact that Gondry is using all in-camera effects and no CGI gets a huge  from me.

Wow. Looks like it could very very interesting and inventive. Count me in the boat of individuals who'll check out all Gondry's work. Looking forward to this.

Gondry's ok. Bernal is the reason I will see the film.

Two positive reviews. Granted they are both from AICN but I trust their opiniona most of the time, even when they kinda get off track with the review.
Gondry's ok. Bernal is the reason I will see the film.
 the trailer makes the film look too derivative of 'Eternal Sunshine' - the animation looks fun though.

I caught this trailer before Lady Vengeance and thought it looked spectacular.
Can't wait. And I'll watch anything Gondry directs, but not because of Sunshine (which was great), but because of his music videos.

Has the potential to be the best movie of all time. Watch out, Citizen Kane!

I saw this at a free screening last night.
The mainstream will hate this movie. Not because a good portion of the film is in French with English subtitiles, but the flick is light years ahead of Eternal Sunshine in terms of it's kookiness and weirdness -- mostly because the film is different than anything most have seen before (and the film takes complete stride in being different). Despite how strange and weird the flick is, it's really an interesting and fun ride. The leads (especially Bernal and Chabat) are fantastic and their performances bring the film to entirely new levels. Anyone who has hoped to be in a relationship and have it fall apart in front of them can easily see pieces of themselves in Bernal's character and that just makes the film work.
There were a lot of pissed off folk after the end credits started, but I really dug the flick. It's not as great as Eternal Sunshine, but it's one of the better films released so far this year.

Amazing. Totally loved it. It really spoke to me a lot more than Eternal Sunshine ever did. Really funny and touching and tons of beautiful imagery. THe main romantic plot was superb. One of the more honest film romances I've seen in ages.

I loved it, too: credible romance plot, and the dreams v. reality stuff was excellent. Of course, it was an aesthetic treat. I don't know if I liked it more than Eternal Sunshine, but I do think it's sort of a nice companion piece.

I saw this last night with my girlfriend. We both really liked it, but I think she liked it more. However, I was a little frustrated that the main character never seemed to evolve throughout the movie and because of that there was no one I could really relate to or identify with in the film. The strangeness of the movie goes a long way, though, and for that reason I like it more than Eternal Sunshine.
Visually, the movie is fantastic and I would buy it on DVD on that principle alone.

Man, there sure are a lot of movies using The Strokes these days.
