7:00-9:00 The Batman Q&A, followed by Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo World Premiere Screening— Warner Bros. Animation’s Emmy-winning action adventure series The Batman returns for a third season this fall, airing Saturdays at 11:30 AM in the Kids’ WB! programming block on the new CW. The Studio will screen selected scenes from the upcoming season, which will feature Robin joining the Dark Knight in his relentless quest to rid Gotham City of its supervillains, followed by a Q&A featuring supervising producer Michael Goguen (The Batman vs. Dracula: The Animated Movie), producer/art director Jeff Matsuda (The Batman vs. Dracula: The Animated Movie), story editor Michael Jelenic (Jackie Chan Adventures), and other members of the production team, as well as cast members Rino Romano (voice of Batman), Evan Sabara (Robin) and Danielle Judovits (Batgirl).

Right after Q&A, Warner Home Video presents the world premiere screening of the Warner Bros. Animation DVD feature Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo (to be released in 2007). Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy are back to save the world in their very first film, which finds the Teen Titans battling a mysterious and menacing Japanese criminal known as Brushogun, who has sent a high-tech ninja to attack the young heroes. The battle has only begun for the crime-fighting five, who pack their bags and take off for Tokyo to destroy their newest menace. Producers Glen Murakami (Batman Beyond, Justice League) and David Slack (Stuart Little, Max Steel), along with cast member Greg Cipes (voice of Beast Boy), will be on hand to introduce the film. One of these years, I'm going to drag myself out there to this event. I wish I was going this year, if only to go to the Marvel film franchise panel and ask them why they think anybody in the world cares about ant-man.

Because it'll be a comedy from film makers who are responsible for a pretty funny show and film.

What's this "Comic-Con" that you speak of?

Exactly, I've never understood why people assume a lesser known character can't be interesting. I'd rather see a Edgar Wright Ant-Man than a Uwe Boll Green Lantern.

devlishalo, you left this little gem off the Friday schedule:

12:00-1:00 Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror— It's ghouls gone wild as EC Comics gets the urban treatment in this hip hop horror anthology hosted by the Hound of Hell, Snoop Dogg. Join Snoop for an exclusive sneak peek and Q&A along with co-writer/producer Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs, Driftwood), producer Martin Shore, and cast members Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), Danny Trejo (Devil's Rejects), Daniella Alonso (One Tree Hill, Wrong Turn 2) and Brande Roderick (Baywatch, Starsky & Hutch). Room 20

I won't be at this panel but it should be a real hoot

Hey, I posted stuff last year!

Jack can handle the duty next year

There's a lot of good stuff this year but, compared to the last couple years, it's a little underwhelming. I think next year should be great, though.

That's my impression. Seems a little .. lite. I don't think next year will be all that. Most of the big movies announced will already be out. Spidey 3, Transformers, Fantastic Four 2...

I'm surprised there's no mention of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix or Beowulf.

Seems like it should be called "Movie Con" nowadays.

How do you decide where to go in a given timeblock, when there is a buttload of panels to attend (but I'm not going to be there, though my mind was reeling from the logistics of it)?

You flip a coin. I already am tearing myself apart that the adult swim panel is at the same time as the sony panel.

This is one reason why it's become so huge the last few years. I've heard it's around 40% comic-related content nowadays, with a high percentage of the convention being movie/tv/pop culture.

It's tough to decide. It really is. Plus you throw in the autograph section, happenings on the exhibit floor and your mind will reel.

You're always going to miss something you'd love to attend. Last year, I missed out on the panel with David Cronenberg so I can get in line to meet him. It was nice to be able to tell him how much I appreciate his work.

So do they actually have some comic book events at this Comic-con? It seems to be a convention for everything but comics.

Here's the link.... check it for yourself. My best friend is really into comics and is drooling over some of the guest artists/writers.

Comic-Con 2006

You do realize this is the Movie Talk forum, so we're talking about the movie aspect of Comic-Con

Yeah, someday I'm going to have to go to this thing. I geek out over these lists every year.

Looks like there is going to be some good stuff. I'd go just for the Battlestar Galactica and Veronica Mars panels.

What? You mean you don't want to grill Singer at the WB panel for post-Superman Returns Q&A?
