Best Buy $5.99 Dvds (reg $9.99) Through 7/8

I just saw a display at the evanston, Il best buy and they had $5.99 DVDs that were "supposed to be advertised, but were not" Thses are reguklarly priced $9.99 each. All of titles rung up correctly, so give it a shot. Remember YMMV.
Here is what I picked up, there were more stuff but I forgot.
  1. A KINIGHTS TALE UNRATED
  2. STEEL MAHNOLIAS
  3. EVERY TIME WE SAY GOODBYE
  4. THE PROFFSSIONAL
  5. SENSE AND SENSABILITY
  6. DONNIE BRASSCO
  7. ANNIE (ANIVERSARY ED)

If this has already been mention, please close this thread.

Hmm...I think I'm gonna go for THE PROFESSIONAL, not for the film, which I already enjoy in its better LEON edit, but for the exclusive theatrical trailer for THE FIFTH ELEMENT. Yes, I'm talking about spending $6 for a trailer; I never said I was normal...

Bestbuy.com has the full listing in the movie section. Looks like there are 40 titles.

Black Hawk Down, Underworld, Spiderman 1 & 2 1-discs are all part of the sale. And so is the 2-disc of Starship Troopers.

Holy sh*t. I live in Evanston, too. Nice to see someone else from North side Chicago on the boards.

indeed. Especially when it comes to those wal-mart deals when one store in north Carolina has it and the niles il walmart does not. Hope there are more here to make our life easier.

How have you been able to use your coupons? I've went in twice the last couple days both sales people have not let me use it because it's only valid on regular price items, not sale items.

ask them to scan the coupon to see if it works and ta-da it works.

The package price screen appears and they have to press yes...sometimes the employee gets clever and will press no so be wary of that.

I picked up THE PROFESSIONAL but BUYERS BEWARE!!! Best Buy is mixing in widescreen copies with full screen-only copies (both with the same UPC; Columbia is sinister with that trick); I made it a mile back home before realizing I grabbed a full screen-only one so I had to go back and exchange it.

Those stupid summabitches wouldn't let me use the 10% off coupon b/c they said it was "already on sale". God, I hate BB and their inconsistent crap

Is $.60 really even worth posting about? Anyway, picked up Sense and Sensibility, thanks for pointing out this deal.

I had no problem. I bought 3 of the 14.99 TV seasons, and got 10% off each. But this is always YMMV. Try to find a cashier that hasn't worked there for too long (their name badges actually tell you)
