Beetlejuice - Current Edition Quality?
Stopped by a local rental place and Beetlejuice is on sale. I've been holding out on a Special Edition, but at a cheap price in a keepcase, I'm considering the pick-up.
Is the transfer audio/video really flawed enough that a Special Edition is a good idea to hold out for? Any input would be appreciated!

Previous rental at BB w/ same snapper art converted to a keepcase. It's got the "Only Available for Rental Re-sale", etc. at the top - but that can easily be cropped off.

Of course it all depends on the viewer, but I own this and I think it's worth it. The video/audio of course could be better but if you can get this on the cheap side, it's a great dvd to own because this film just rocks!
You should buy this right now cheap and don't wait forever for that SE.

I've also been waiting for a new release of this movie. Can't believe we haven't gotten one yet. This was a pretty big one, IIRC.
You can get it for cheap just about anywhere, I think. Not sure if I should cave and buy, or keep waiting.
