Animated Superman vol. 3 - problems

Anyone else having trouble with the new set? On side of disk two wouldn't play, so I exchanged it, and now the other side won't play!

Haven't watched it yet, but I think I may have to before the return date expires. I got mine at Best Buy, and they included a Superman comic booklet. Unfortunately, it was floating around inside the DVD case and the exposed side of the double-sided DVD is visibly scuffed as a result.

I just tested my disc 2, both sides seemed ok. I got to both menus fine, and tested one episode on each side, both played great.

I also had a similar problem with my season 2 set. The picture would stutter & freeze at a certain spot on the "World's Finest" episode. It looked like the exposed side of the flipper disc got scuffed from one of the WB flyers packed in the box. Dang flippers.

I got mine from Amazon and it did NOT come with movie cash. I can see this will be a goddamn annoying problem.

Ditto.

I already e-mailed their customer support about the issue.

My disc wasn't scratched, though. The second discs in every Superman volume are double-sided/multi-layer (either DVD-14 or DVD-18; I don't know off hand), and we all know how defects are common on those types of disc.
Oh Lord, they've used these damn things in the Superman Animated sets?

I'd hoped, from buying the Batman Animated and Justice League stuff, that WB had avoided using these utter turds that keep on screwing up. The BA and JL sets use four single-siders, why the hell couldn't the SA sets??

Joy! Now I hear that they've used multi-layer flippers in the ones I want the most!

-sigh-

Anyone know where to e-mail at WB to complain about the lack of Movie Money. I just wish I had ordered from Amazon. That $10.50 credit sounds pretty nice.

I don't have the link in front of me, but you can find the customer service link on the Store Forum in the Customer Service Phone Number thread. Select "Consumer products and merchandise" under the selection of what the email regards.

You can put me down for another person that had trouble with disc 2 of vol 3. Mine started stuttering at episode 2 on the second disc from the very beginning and couldn't get more than 10 seconds in. I exchanged it and the replacement seems to be fine; I just finished watching all the episodes.

I'll be sure to keep a close eye on my sets when I get them in a few days.

Can't wait. Ordered Vol. 1, 2, and 3. Lots of Superman goodness.
