I recently bought this box set on ebay, but am a bit concerned as it was sent from Malaysia. It looks genuine, but I am not sure how to verify this.
It came in a cardboard box with a small DTS holographic sign in the upper corner of box. Inside there were two slip cases, each with two discs. The funny thing is that in each slipcase there are two discs in a folder, but it is not a two disc slipcase. Also the image on the disc itself looks a little faded. Is there any way I can find out if it a bootleg copy or not ? Seller claims it is an original straight from the factory.

It was only released in DD 2.0 stereo, for one thing, and holographic DTS stickers are pretty much dead giveaways that you've been taken.

It is an official release. In china/malaysia that is. That's how they get some people to buy them, by claiming its an official release.

Luckily I got a PayPal refund. But I left a negative feedback for seller, warning others that he deals in bootleg copies. Was told he would give revenge negative feedback in return, even though I did nothing wrong.

Season 1 and Season 7 (Rob & Amber from Survivor were in it) have been released in the United States. $28.80 before the 20% discount at DDD.
