Lois & Clark Season 2 $14.97 YMMV

Hi, I was at Walmart earlier today in Sacto Ca checking out the tv boxsets when I noticed that the Lois & Clark season 2 shelf tag said it was $14.97, I went to the self scanner and sure enough it said it was $14.97. So I thought I would give you guys a head up on this, I don't know if this was a misprice our not, but I own 1 of the 3 copies they had on the shelf. Hope this helps some of you guys or gals out.

Take it back. Costco will even give you a refund if you have already opened it.

Yeah, mine (in Eugene) had it for that price... I paid $28 at BB for it but sent the receipt in for the WB rebate (using only the Friends box sets, not L&C). I highly doubt they'll accept a photocopy but I may give it a try to get a price match.

I am going to go out today and see if the price is the same at my local Wal-Mart. I will respond with my results. Also, any word on if Season 1 is on sale too, or is it just Season 2?

I've been in the process of watching Season 1 that I got a while back at Wal-Mart for $20. In all honesty, I haven't been enjoying it nearly as much as when it first aired and was about to call it quits on collecting the rest of the seasons but for $15, I'll make an exception.

Went to 2 Wal-Marts, first had no space for it and no copies. The 2nd one had 3 copies on the shelf, so I picked up one for myself.

Thanks for the heads up.

Went to 2 Walmarts as well - neither had a space/price sticker for it, and I never found any copies...

I'll save somebody a wasted trip: in SoCal, neither Porter Ranch or Panorama City have them. It doesn't look like they normally stock it, there's no space/price sticker for it.

BTW, Panorama City has a crappy selection.... very small video department.

I could not locate one at the Shelton, CT store. Fortunately, there are several other stores that I go by during the week.

Went by my closest WM & they just happened to be "re-designing" the shelf space for DVDs. Looks like it's going from 4-5 sides/sections to just 2 sides. Seasons that use to get 1 whole side only get <1/2 a side now.

Because of that re-design, no L&Cs at all.

Well, BB price matched so with the extra 10% I got the set for $13 and change

Must say, BB is Jekyll and Hyde. Sometimes I have a tough time getting them to PM things others (like today), the lady at customer service didn't even call to verify...

I guess so, lol. Either that or someone else already came in and did the same thing and she already verified it or something.

I can only imagine the hassle I would've gotten if it were CC, depending on who it was, as there's someone working behind the customer service counter who didn't call Target to see if they had the Veronica Mars or Nip Tuck in stock.

Man! I just bought this for 24.99 a few weeks ago at BB. Wonder if they'll pricematch. Probably not worth the hassle.

Went by one on way to work this morning & got last copy for $14.96. Shelf tag still showed $39.96 - did price check @ scanner to verify.

FWIW - the ones ringing up @ $14.96 have UPC code 12569-40742 on plastic that's covering original UPC ending in 73059.

So, it's confirmed in a Houston area WM. One I stopped @ was Pasadena Fairmont store. The Deer Park/La Porte store didn't have it (or most sets) at all yesterday.

Thanks OP.
