Band of Brothers @ Amazon $51.99

I understand Target is selling it for $49.99, but with tax it will exceed Amazon's price, moreso if you can use your A9 instant reward at Amazon. This is the cheapest I've seen it, less than half the original MSRP. I'm going for it. Buy it here...

A9 is a search engine on Amazon's site. If you do a search, Amazon will knock off something like 1.5% of your order.

I paid $60.12 at last years DDD 20% sale and that was a great deal at the time. Looks like there was a price drop. Great series!

Well, technically, it was $5.99 at Target for a couple days last year. A few people lucked out on that.

I paid $61.something (after 10% off coupon) at buy.com within the last couple months, and I thought THAT was a pretty good deal!

Oh well, it was still worth the price I paid.

I waited a long time before I bought it..and ended up paying 60 some dollars a year ago and thought I could get a better price but nope. Several months after buying it the price never dropped below $70. Now that it is $50 seems like a great deal.

Best tv series ever made. I paid 59.99 and I have watched it at least 5 full times, and each time I watch it, the more I am convinced it is way better than Saving Private Ryan.

By the way, the book Beyond Band of Brothers, written by Dick Winters, is really a great follow up read to things that weren't covered or that were embellished in the series. Just in the last few years, a lot of the main, real life, characters that were interviewed have passed on.

Popeye Doyle and Lipton that I can remember by name.

Did the list price for this set just drop to $79.99? If that's the case maybe is conceivable that DDD could be better in a few weeks...currently its $57.10 - the sale could bring it down to $45.70. Think I'll keep on eye out for now.

I agree that the list price has changed. Hastings just lowered the used sets from 59.99 to 34.99....and this week all used product is 30% off. They look brand new and many still have the cardboard thing stuck to the metal tin. If you have a hastings you can get a hella deal on it. My hastings has at least 20 copies.

I picke dthis up from Amazon and got it today. But, the box UPS delivered was in the worst shape I had ever seen. It looked like it had been crushed. WHen I opend the box there was no padding inside whatsoever. The set looked undamaged except for a slight dent on the very bottom that I was willing to let slide. BUt I opened it tonight and some of the discs were loose and the spindles that hold them were snapped. Luckily Amazon had a decent exchange policy. But this is the 3rd item in 2 days I ahve received damged. The X-Files Season 4 I got yesterday had a nice slash in it from a box cutter and the Entourage S2 set I got hasd a really messed up case.

I went to CC and had them PM Best Buy. CC was selling theirs for $89.99, so with -$40 and then another -$4, got it for $45.99.
