Received a separate coupon flyer at Costco today which supplements the summer-long coupon book they are handing out.

From June 12-18, there will be $6.00 off:

King Kong (2005, 2-disk, $20.89 before discount)
Munich ($18.39 before)
The Producers (2005, musical version, $18.39 before)
Nanny McPhee
Brokeback Mountain

and will be also discounting DVDs from the following codes:
102156
103063
103791
107718
109227
125419
173429
197309
997317

I looked around and only saw these from the codes above (all at $17.99 before): To Kill a Mockingbird SE, Jurassic Park 3-movie set, The Mummy 3-movie set, Gary Cooper set (5-movie), and Marlon Brando set (4-movies). The others may already be at other Costcos, or will arrive over the next week.

There is no item limit on this coupon and the flyer should be readily available at the door.

Thanks Gary! :) I'll definitely pick up Munich and am looking forward to see what DVDs match those codes.

Munich sounds great at that price now that I seem to be unable to find the 2-Disc anywhere around here. Also, does anyone know what comes in the Marlon Brando set?

I can finally pick up King Kong 2-disk at a decent price!

Awesome. I got this coupon today but didn't notice it can be used on the Mummy set. I was going to buy Munich and the Mummy set during the DDD sale, but I can save $1 off Munich and $3 off the Mummy set.

Thanks!

Does anyone think this will work on the Riddick trilogy set? I only think it might because the Jurassic Park and Mummy sets are included. The only reason I can see for it not being included is that it already sells for $11.99.

I guess I'll see if it does on the 12th when I pick up Munich and the Mummy set.

I'm curious if the Glamour Collections (Mae West, Carole Lombard, Marlene Deitrich) fall under those codes as well. They are also $17.99 (before discount) at my local stores.

Do we need the actual coupon flyer to get the discount, or will they be automatically marked down at the register?

For those making the assumption that Munich was the 2-disc, this sure looks like the 1 disc to me.

My Costco never carried the 2-disc.

Will a printout of that work?

Even if you don't get the handouts...people almost always just leave their's lying around the store so you could possibly pick one of those up?

Will a printout of that work?Maybe, but considering there are always boxes of about 6,000 of these flyers at Costco, why would you need it?

Usually, the cashiers have copies of these coupons at the registers. If you tell them at checkout that you don't have the coupon, they'll scan their copy. I've done this a few times in the past and it works out fine.

Been debating Kong for a while, but it looks like with the coupon and 8.21% sales tax rate at my costco, the total will be $16.11.

May just have to save the hassle and do $16.94 at DDD.

So, depending on your tax rate it may be easier to just buy at DDD, with no gas expenses and only about 80 cents more expensive. Just fyi.

It'll be $15.78 for me. Plus Costco is not far from me.

Not sure as I didn't have the numbers to check but at my Costco they were mixed in with To Kill a Mockingbird , the Gary Cooper set. and Jurassic Park trio. It sure looked like this was set up for the sale.

Just got my King Kong. Only some are labeled as having the postcards inside, which is aparently the only type of insert you get. The ones without the label did feel lighter and the disk flap had audible space for movement.

Although another reader saw a different code on these sets, I re-checked while there on a different errand, and those three now had the code "109227" so they should be part of this coupon deal. ($17.99 - $6.00 = $11.99 plus tax)

Picked up the Producers and the Gary Cooper and Marlon Brando collections. Producers came down to $13, the other two only $12. Thanks OP :)

The three Glamour Collections (Lombard, Dietrich, West) are definitely included in the coupon sale, which makes them about $12 each -- a great deal (unfortunately I bought them from Costco when they first came out). The John Wayne 5-Movie Collection, priced at $16.59, was also on the coupon for a $10.59 final price. I hadn't been planning to pick this one up, but at two bucks a film, what the hey.

Yup, Costco changed the codes and bumped the price up by a buck.
