Ddd // Dvd Planet Sony Pictures Sale???

OK so I think I narrowed down the $5.98 (DDD) and $6.50 (DVD PLANET) is to Sony Pictures. Such films include Read My Lips, Facing Windows, The Sea Is Watching, Monsieur Ibrahim, Betty Blue, The Dreamlife of Angels, Vertical Ray of Sun, Beijing Bicycle, etc.

Is this a sale just exclusively for DDD and DVD PLANET or what gives? And, (although this might belong in the DDD June 20% sale thread) do you guys think these Sony Pictures films will stay at that price when the sale hits???

Sony is taking a bunch of their foreign films out of print. Vertical Ray of the Sun is one of them. There was a big thread about it 1-2 months ago. I read that they will remain on sale until stock is depleted.

I bought Beijing Bicycle, The Man Without a Past, Happy Times and Vertical Ray of the Sun. Beijing Bicyle was the only movie I had seen, the rest were blind buys.

I'll probably order Das Experiment and throw a few blind buys into the order.

I wish The Road Home was part of the sale.

i recommend Broken Wings, Facing Windows, and The Sea Is Watching as well. Darn if only I wouldn't have bought those flicks before this $6 sale. crapola!
