Cheapest Sports Illustrated Subscription?

I'm looking to subscribe to Sports Illustrated in time for the upcoming football season.

Any of you guys know where to go to get the cheapest price for a 56 issue subscription?

Thanks.

I usually get all my subscriptions from eBay, unless I can find a freebie.

How cheap? I know on Amazon it's $39.95.

On SI.com it's $47.95 but comes with a free Team Logo Shirt and Team Logo Fleece

I agree. Go to eBay. I took a quick look and saw some SI subs that were $35 or less.

Re: Cheapest Sports Illustrated Subscription?

The best Sports Illustrated deal available seems to be back now. I know it was discussed in this forum before but I couldn't find the previous thread, only this one.

Anyway, once or twice a year this deal is active and it seems to be live again. For $10 you get a year of Sports Illustrated (which includes a digital subscription on iPad as well -- a really nice bonus) and an XL t-shirt of your favorite NFL team. I've done it twice before and the shirt is surprisingly nice and arrived very quickly after placing the order. Here's the link through SI.

If you'd rather spend $20 and get a jacket instead, here's that link.

I know they also have deals where for 50$ you get subscription plus copy of NCAA/Madden, plus a couple of dvds.

Thanks for that link. Just signed up. Hope the auto renewal doesn't turn out to be a pain in the ass to cancel later on.

Re: Cheapest Sports Illustrated Subscription?

In case anyone was wondering (like I was) if the deal really went through, my SI NFL t-shirt arrived today, so it's working (or at least it was when I posted).

Re: Cheapest Sports Illustrated Subscription?

Offer is still good. Just ordered a year for myself (with a snazzy BUFFALO BILLS shirt). Have to gift the shirt to someone else in the family as my XL days are far behind me. Couple more years on my 2012 resolution diet & maybe I'll ask for it back.

If you have a few airline miles, you can get a year for miles and $2.

Re: Cheapest Sports Illustrated Subscription?

I've used both Delta and AA. Look for the Mags for Miles choice on the redemption page.

Re: Cheapest Sports Illustrated Subscription?

Bump to say the $10 deal still works as of 5/18/2012. I thought it might be dead, because when I hit "submit", the webpage just hung there - waiting for the "thank you" page to load. I got tired of waiting, so I opened another window and went to the SI Customer Service page, and it had indeed updated my subscription through 5/27/2013 for $10.60 (apparently there's tax)

Re: Cheapest Sports Illustrated Subscription?

If you use the link for the subscription, can you use it again to extend the subscription, or do you have to find a different link?

I just signed up for a year using the $10 one. I thought about the $20 one, but decided not to get since I wear t-shirts year round, but only the jacket half of the year.

Just call 1-800-528-5000, ask for Customer Service and ask them to turn off Auto-renew. I just did that.

BTW : I re-upped my subscription on 5/15 and just got my second copy of the new issue, so the subscription kicks in shockingly quickly, though I haven't gotten my new T-shirt yet.

Edit : 5/29/13 -- Shirt arrived today. It's nice. Such an insanely good deal. Don't forget, you get the iPad subscription as well as print.

Re: Cheapest Sports Illustrated Subscription?

Thought I'd bump this up again as my subscription was up. The previous deals are done, but you can still get the 56 issues along with an NFL jacket for $20 here.
