Question about tonight's Toy Story on ABC

i am wondering if anyone watched this or not. the reason is that it was scheduled from 7-10 and that means that they had more commercial time scheduled than for the movie. i was just wondering if they had some special or something with it or was it just the movie?

I caught part of it. They had something in between where a security guard was chasing down the car from Cars. He would stop off in different departments, where the staff/characters would describe how the movies are made.

It was kind of cool, but definately geared for families sitting down for group fun night.

Wow, they gave three hours to air Toy Story??? That's insane! Usually, ABC will air something like Pearl Harbor in a three hour window (even though the movie is longer than that by a few minutes) and then cut out an hour or so for commercials.

The last time Toy Story was on ABC I checked it out. It was only a two hour block, though, and it looked awesome in HD. I didn't see all of it, so I couldn't tell if it was edited or not but with airing it over three hours they better not have cut anything out of it.

The security guard was John Ratzenberger. The last half hour was mainly a look at the making of Cars and a celebration of Pixar's 20th anniversary. There were a few brief appearances from Pixar stars like Tom Hanks and Billy Crystal, as well as George Lucas and Peter Jackson.
