I apologize to the viewers of this thread, for apparently my ranting and raving got the last one closed. But i apologize for coming off as too negative and critical - people spend their cash on a lot crazier stuff than toys, so whatever -

Ok, so if i promise to be nice... can i stay and view the dvds and toys ?

Those have been available for awhile at places such as Target and Toys R Us. I am not sure if any are on store shelves now though. An R2-D2 version is next I believe.

I know it's a YMMV, but my Walmart had them on clearance for $1.50 the other day.

Are your photo images reversed? Your collection seems to be in reverse alphabetical order.

scott1598, awesome collection. are you also gonna get the R2D2 potato head? it comes with a mini hologram leia also,to answer that question, those SW potato heads are pretty common figures and easily available at all retails tores that sell toys. they're not rare or anything, at least in the US.

sabrett, like i said in the last thread, love your display and i'm glad to see a girl collecting the same things as guys. ^^ btw, where did you get the Lady plushie? i only saw the Tramp plushie from my BB.

Never heard of anybody doing it that way. So I would say for me it would be weird. But nobody says that you have to do it left to right.

Nice collection by the way!

It does seem a little unusual....I mean in stores it's always A-Z, left to right, but whatever you're most comfortable with.

Thanks
The Lady and the Tramp were Disney Store Exclusives. My Platinum Edition DVD came with the two plushes, and 4 lithographs...oh, and a pin.

i think it's the jew in me. actually, my whole collection is backwards and it just started that way. always seemed easier to add to the end when right to left. i never tried the other way so i am sure it would be the same. but, at least i stopped turning my dvd's upside down. my whole collection used to be upside down if you could imagine.

Finally got a custom-made shelf for the new condo. It's about 8'x4', and my fiancee's father made it for us. It doesn't fit all my DVDs, but it's close enough for now. Enjoy.

Top Half:

Bottom Half:

Full Length (it comes about an inch from the ceiling):

i don't think i am. it doesn't look the same as the other two which i find very cool (bad guys are cooler anyway). if i see it on passing maybe, but i won't go out of my way. the completist in me doesn't need this one.

Scott,

Great custom shelf. I think 1 gigantic shelf is the best way to display collections.

Yes Scott, I love that, it's exactly what I want. I wished I was skilled enough to make my own shelves like that. Your Father-In-Law did an excellent job!!!

Sabrett,

Wife prefers to not look at my collection and be reminded of the amount of money i have spent

I have them on a spreadsheet to know whats there and if people are over they dont look at me strangly for the amount of dvd's and cd's I have, anymore.
