DVD Talk review of 'The Time Tunnel: Volume Two'
I read Randy Miller III's DVD review of The Time Tunnel: Volume Two at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=22009 and...
...can't wait to receive my set. It's due any day now in the mail. I've thoroughly enjoyed the DVD presentation on the Volume 1 set, and this has been my most anticipated TV series on DVD, having viewed the series in its original ABC network run.
The care in mastering that 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has maintained gets high praise from me, as this old and nearly forgotten series has never looked better.
Thanks Randy for the review, and thanks to TCFHE for the excellent DVD presentation of THE TIME TUNNEL.

...and my luck was with me. The mailman delivered my TIME TUNNEL VOLUME 2 DVD set in yesterday's mail. So far I've watched the 2002 pilot (it's pretty good!), and the first episode on the set.
I also checked to see if the "reversed reel" had been fixed in the second episode, "Kill Two By Two". It has!
Here are two screenshots - the first is from an old airing on SciFi, where about a ten minute segment of the show was reversed right to left:
The second screenshot is from the new DVD set. It's been corrected (as it was Tony's left leg that was hurt in the opening scene).
So far, the episodes look and sound just as great as the first set.

Thanks for reading, HGN! I actually wasn't aware of the "reversed reel" problem on Sci-Fi, so Fox's attention to detail went right over my head. Thanks for pointing that out!
