Well, it looks like it does require you see an R rated film. While the email sates the code expires July 9th, when you apply it to your account, it says the expiration date is January 1st, 2007.

This is the part that has me confused. The email from JW says the code must be redeemed before 7/9/06. However when I check my promo code on the Fandango website (link is here (http://www.fandango.com/PromoCodeStatus.aspx)), it says it expires 1/1/2007. I've already checked with Fandango, and you can't redeem a promo code and keep it in your account for use later. Are we all stuck watching THE OMEN :(

I ended up calling Fandango Customer Service (1-866-857-5191). From what she could tell, the promo code is valid from March 2006 to 1/1/2007. I'm going to take a chance that it's true and use it later in the year. If anyone finds out otherwise, please post!

The original post is over 7 months old, and the thread hasn't been "active" for over 3 months. I think the offer has already expired, as the codes that were sent out claimed to valid thru July 9, 2006- however they were actually valid thru January 1st of this year. I imagine any code you receive from this offer will be expired.

However, since you've already submitted your information, you may as well wait and see!
