You are correct.....

Target did a 2 pack of the two movies for $16.99 a week ago.

Walmart this morning had a display at the front of the store selling the first two movies in a box set for $14.97 Damn good price in my opinion..

It's the single disc that's $5.99. The double is $14.99.

X2 is in the 3 for $10 dvd bin at gamestop/ebgames b&m. 3 for $9 if you have their discount card. Should be for both the 2 disc and the 1 disc, since they dont differentiate between the two.

Picked two movie set at Target today for 16.99, which included 1.5 version of X-Men (which has the DTS soundtrack). Went to two WM supercenters and no luck on the WM exclusive X-Men box set.

For those in Kansas City. The WM off of I35 and 75th street frontage road has a ton of the X-men box set in stock for the $15. Very nice package for the money. Good bridge set until they come out with X3 + the first two in HD dvd resolution discs?!?!?

Costoco has a free X-men ticket deal. The only title I remember is Transporter 2. The price was $12.99 and included a ticket voucher for up to $7.50 through some date in July.

I got the single-disc version in December. It had a slipcover saying "Spotlight Series" , like the one in my DVD collection link (http://www.intervocative.com/DVDCollection.aspx/snorlaxnut). It was just like the original DVD release of the movie, I think.

The 4-disc set was $14.86 at my Walmart as well. Kinda irks me. I paid more than twice that for the individual releases. :)
