My Summer Story - 8/1/2006

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release My Summer Story, the ho-hum 1994 follow-up to the much-beloved "A Christmas Story," on August 1st. The film, starring Charles Grodin, Mary Steenburgen and Kieran Culkin, will come with a 1.85:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround tracks. There don't appear to be any extras. Retail is $19.94.
Nice! It pales in comparison to the original, but it's not bad.
