I have a Treo 650 and need to switch to the Berry for work. Buy.com had a deal a few months back, selling the 8700 for $150. Is there anything like that out there now? I will be getting a data-only plan and don't want to deal with rebates.

Thanks!

The 8700 from amazon isn't available with a data only plan. I'm looking for something like 150-200 out of pocket with activation of a data-only plan. I'd like to get a t-mobile 8700 if possible.

Maybe I can order it through amazon and activate it with one of the voice plans, and then call t-mobile and switch to a data only plan. I wouldn't get the rebates, but 175 is a good price. Any thoughts on this idea?

thanks!

I picked up an 8700g from T-Mobile today. They price matched amazon ($199) and there is a $50 mail-in rebate. word. This puppy is awesome to the max.
