The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006, D: Justin Lin)

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The third time's the charm.

After turning down an offer to reprise his role in "The Fast and the Furious" sequel, Vin Diesel may reconsider and return for the third installment of the adrenaline-pumping series, according to the UK's Channel 4..

"Fast" star Paul Walker, who also appears in the sequel "2 Fast 2 Furious," explains why he believes Diesel will return to the franchise.

"Nothing's definite," says Walker, "but the sequel did really well ... We actually did much better, so I think we'll go back and do a third one, and we're hoping Vin will be on board."

Both the original "Fast" in 2001 and its sequel in 2003 made over $125 million at the U.S. box office each.

In June, Diesel will star in "The Chronicles of Riddick," the sequel to his 2000 sci-fi action thriller "Pitch Black."

That is good news about "The Chronicles of Riddick", I didn't know he was making a sequel to "Pitch Black".

Sometimes you have to go back to the well.

... and sometimes, no-one else will pay you $20 Million after a shelved-forever flop cop movie and after you've been kicked out of the Bond ripoff franchise.

I know we're going to get a ton of thread crappers here, but the Fast and the Furious movies are guilty pleasures. As long as we get cool riced out cars, i'll probably watch it

The chronicles of Riddick is actually a trilogy... if the first one does well then they will do the last two, ala matrix.

They already did the first one though, so wouldn't that make it a quadrilogy?

Well I for one think Vin Diesel is an "entertaining" actor. He makes fun movies. He is good at what he does. He isn't meant to play roles up for Oscar nominations. Thank God we have movies like Fast and Furious and things like that to go along with all the Oscar type melodrama stuff like English patient and remains of the day and sense and sensibility and the piano and all that stuffy stuff.

The terretto character is what made me completely not see 2Fast2Furious, I still gotta see it on dvd sometime, I think Vin helps these types of films, he's apart of the action, as much we liked Stallone doing his Rambo stuff in his hey day, Vin kinda suits that fast and the furious world, they just need too really improve on the first movie, and surprise people.

The Riddick films though come first for me, Riddick his landmark character.

Wow, I wonder why he's doing this instead of sequels to A Man Apart or Knockaround Guys?!?

what's a threadcap??

Anyway, I'm not the biggest vin diesel fan, i actually didn't mind him but then I lost all interest in him when Fast & the Furious came out, and I also haven't liked anything from paul walker since either.

But, I did like Pitch Black a lot, but then pitch black had Keith David too But I'll see the chronicles of riddick if the trailer looks good.

as much as i like cars... i just can't bring myself to see 2 fast 2 Furious

probably because no Vin Diesel in it... he may not be the most charming actor ever, but he does have some... & that helps the 1st Fast Furois i believe
Paul is like Keanu... pinoccio, stiff like a wood.... but at least Keanu got some charms in him & it shows in his movies

i hope they go back with 3rd FF with Vin Diesel... & better action car chase scenes

The Chronicles of Riddick is the movie I am waiting for. I loved Pitch Black. I did not see ff2, but would go see ff3 if it had Diesel.

The Fast and The Furious Three

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Terese headlining the poster, three characters, the fast and the furious 3, simple as that, 2 fast 2 furious was neat, but simply 3 will do this time.

2 FAST and 2 FURIOUS: Dom is back

Tyrese and Paul Walker enter the racing world to find out that Vin Diesel is back robbing trucks. This time, the bad guy from the 2nd film is out of prison and out to get them. The three unite for one last time to take them out.

Wow....... i am pretty sure they would do this and think its a good idea.

But for real..... its good that he deflated his head and came back to reality.

I thought they wrapped up Dominic's storyline pretty well in the original. I don't see any reason to bring him back, but it could work. As long as they have the backbone of the series, Walker, the film will be awesome. I am eagerly awaiting the final chapter of this epic trilogy. And 2 Fast 2 Furious was the best action film of the summer! Recognize, haters!
