Cool, I'll pick 'em both up. I'm a big Lea Thompson fan. I met her in the late 80's but, unfortunately for her, she had already fallen for Howard Deutch.

Each day, she feels the regret. Oh yes, she does.

Yikes! Me 2. Guess that's why these 2 are hittin' the bargain bins. I may be able to live without a SKOW commentary track though it can definately stand a better transfer. I'll double dip for Molly Ringwald any day esp for that price, or will I be an HD snob in August. The future...

A PRETTY IN PINK Special Edition? I'm sure I just wet myself...

Joy and wonder aside, however, where are the fuckin' trailers?!

True a double dip when the price is so cheap certainly makes it a little easier to do. Just a shame I paid almost twice that much for both movies when they first came out on DVD. I think the srp was either $24.99 or $26.99 each, originally.

Aren't they the same movie?

I don't have either but I'll pick them up sooner or later.

I just got the 1980's nostalgia bug myself a few weeks ago and went on a teen movie buying spree: Pretty in Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Biloxi Blues, Say Anything, Valley Girl, The Karate Kid, Flashdance, Footloose, Dirty Dancing.

Heck, the last releases of all of the above are pretty darned cheap by now. Via CH, all of the above ('cept Say Anything, which I picked up from DDD) set me back like $50 total.

I won't be upgrading, both are great little sweet films though. I am happy with both editions I currently have. For those people who really loves these films, this is great news.

Same here. I have both and although I like them both I don't think I think I will double dip on them. Good news for those who haven't picked them up yet though...

I'd have to buy it just for the "Andie picks Duckie" original ending alone; oh, but to have this incorporated back into the film via seamless branching, so we could choose our own individual preferred endings, would be divine...

Have both already and am pretty happy as well, though I might consider the Pretty In Pink SE at that price.

Agreed. The faceless drummer trailer for SKOW was awesome.

Interesting that these two movies (essentially the same story with the altered ending PiP but SKOW restored) are being rereleased together.

Now whereever did I put those soundtracks? They both need to be on my iPod asap (especially that Lick the Tins cover of "Can't Help Falling in Love")!

The SKOW art is pretty good fits the film... the PIP on the otherhand is almost as bad as the cover for 'Clueless Whatever Edition'

I am so glad I've held off on buying these for as long as I did. Procrastination actually pays off sometimes!
