I'll be curious if the show can keep up the momentum with the breakout the escape done after season 1 and the chase on. The best part of the show is the prison scenes so we'll see how it goes.

"Set in"? Didn't read like it. "Filmed in"? yes. Looks like the producer just wants to be closer to home when the show is filmed.

Maybe your right, but I think it will be kind of hard to "fake" Chicago in Dallas.

Maybe it's all linked to the assassination of JFK.

Probably not any harder than faking Dallas in Florida... and really, other than the obvious landmarks that probably won't come into play, Illinois isn't that much different looking than the area around Dallas.. At least that was my impression living in Dallas and having spent some time driving around all over Illinois.

A story with slightly more details from the Dallas Morning News: http://www.guidelive.com/sharedconte...1.e2d7374.html

Wherever that $5M is buried is where season 2 will be taking place.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Television shows. They can fake New York in Los Angeles easily. Hell, you can make anywhere look like a specific place. All you need is some pick up shots of the city and you got yourself a show taking place somewhere else.

Sydney Bristow has traveled the world while Jennifer Garner has never left Los Angeles while working on Alias.

I doubt they will be. Clearly the stuff on last night was somewhere cold (smoke on the water and their breath). S2 obviously is going to take place else where in addition to parts in Chicago/Stone River (LJ is still there to say the least).

Yeah, next thing you'll tell me is that West Wing was shot in L.A. or something.

Hey, if Sesame Street wasn't filmed on Sesame Street, Dallas can be Chicago.

Exactly - I love seeing all these remote settings such as a ship yard in South America that was filmed not more than 2 miles from my house.
