Favorite "fun" movie
I think that the best movie is "the Godfather," while my favorite movie is "Swingers." All my opinions, not yours. But my favorite "fun" movie is definately "Oceans 11." There werent any stand-out scenes where i cried, laughed loudly, or was on the edge of my seat, but it just had a real charming vibe throughout that made it very enjoyable for me.

I don't know, I guess the most "fun" would be the comedy I can watch the most and still find hilarious, which would most certainly be Spaceballs.

Dumb and Dumber

Oft quoted lines and stupid humor. Can't add it to any 'Best" list, but a guilty 'fun" pleasure.

Kind of rediscovered this film when my sons watched it for the first time.

I guess I don't have many light comedies (my comedies are pretty much limited to Airplane, Dr Strangelove, Ferris Bueller, Groundhog Day, Office Space and Truman Show, so I'm not a huge fan of most "light comedies"), and I tend to watch mostly serious dramas, so for fun I generally enjoy a mindless action movie where I can just kinda watch and enjoy without having to think for a change:
- Goldeneye (my favorite Bond film)
- The Hunt for Red October

And of course, some Sci-Fi stuff like Star Trek/Wars movies and others like 12 Monkies and stuff.

So I guess I have some weird fun movies.

Airplane always good for a couple dozen laughs

Ghostbusters Bill Murrey's performance gets better with each viewing.
