Keane - Under The Iron Sea - June 20th
Thought I'd give a heads up on this. Loved Hopes and Fears as well as most of their B-Sides which rival some album tracks. Saw this in Entertainment Weekly. Only about 5 weeks away.
International release is June 12th.
Tracklisting:
01. Atlantic
02. Is It Any Wonder?
03. Nothing In My Way
04. Leaving So Soon?
05. A Bad Dream
06. Hamburg Song
07. Put It Behind You
08. The Iron Sea
09. Crystal Ball
10. Try Again
11. Broken Toy
12. The Frog Prince

Hopes And Fears rocks. I'm hoping this one is just as good. "Is It Any Wonder?" is okay, but, I don't know...

A lot of new bands recently that I've really liked their debut albums (meaning nearly every track) has usually followed up with a second album I don't care for.
Here's hoping that changes.

Is this Tommy Keane?
edit: Whoops... Forgot how to spell "Tommy Keene". Obviously it's different.

I cant wait. When I first heard about them I refused to like them as I thought they were Coldplay knock offs. After giving them a chance and listening to them I realized how wrong I was and how great their album is. I hope this one follows suit.

Actually Tommy Keene is still around. Touring as Robert Pollard's guitarist and keyboardist. They just made an album together.

They've just announced some US tour dates. Interestingly enough, they're playing a small club here in Boston (Axis); must be a warmup tour, I'm sure they could fill a much larger venue.

I want to go to the Chicago show, but I'm going to try to just buy tickets at the box office the night of the event. It's a risk, but I hate Ticketmaster. If I bought tickets online, I'd probably end up paying 50% more.
