Hmmm, I never saw those final episodes of The Practice that introduced Denny Crane so this might be worth looking into. Thanks!

Yes but the four Practice episodes should logically be the ones towards the end with Shatner, Rebecca De Mornay, etc. that set up Boston Legal.

That's what I was thinking. Shatner was in around 6 episodes and Spader was there alot longer.

Now, now. We wouldn't want people not to buy the final season of The Practice because they already have a third of the episodes, now would we?

Whoever drew up the image where the Almighty William Shatner's face is covered up with the bonus DVD should be pummeled about the face and head.

I'll probably get that. The Practice bonus really makes it worthwhile. I can hardly remember anymore -- were Denny Crane and Sally Heap the only characters that transfered over or was Brad Chase there too?

Be careful making assumptions about which episodes will be on the bonus disc.

Denny and Sally were the only Practice guest stars to make the transition, which basically amounted to a bunch of wasted character development for DeMornay's character. And of course only one of the two Practice regulars to join the spinoff are still around, and the second-billed actress from season one of Boston Legal vanished without any explanation. Typical DEK.

Can anyone whos picked this up confirm which episodes are included as well as quality (anamorphic, 5.1?). I have the last half of the final season of The Practice via downloads, so this disc would practically be worthless if the episodes arent anamorphic.

The bonus PRACTICE episodes are enhanced for widescreen and 2.0 sound. Interestingly, the disc's menu screen clearly says "The Practice Season 8." So I think they have the full season ready to go, somewhere on a shelf. (Maybe they should label it "Boston Legal, season 0" to promote it?)

For anyone who bought Boston Legal at Best Buy, was the package marked or stickered as to if it contained the bonus disc??? My packaging has no stickers on it indicating it has the bonus disc, so I don't know if I should go return it or if it does have the bonus disc in it.

I went to Best Buy to pick up Boston Legal but they were out of the Practice discs and had a small sign which said "Max of 3 per store." Of course they had dozens of the season sets out, since they expected to sell tons of them. I don't think stores should even be allowed to advertise freebies like this with such a pathetic supply.

Yes, there is a round sticker on the front that says Best Buy exclusive bonus disc with practice episodes. Looks like the bonus disc is hidden inside the slip box in a small white paper sleeve.

At the Nashua, NH store they only had about a half-dozen left on Wednesday with the stickers--those were in the New Releases rack. The other copies on the "new release table"/normal TV area were all without stickers.

The Sales Ad said "minimum 8 per store".

There were a ton of them with stickers at the one I went to on Tuesday. They had them laying on the new release table in the middle of the store. There had to be a lot more than 3 or 8.

Sounds nice, but considering this should be around $24 at DDD within a month (hopefully), Ill just wait and be happy with the disc of the last half of the final season I "acquired", even if lower quality. 17 (or even 21) episodes arent worth $37.99.

Anyone seen a good deal on this lately? I just got into the show, Amazon has S2 for $26.99 ($1/episode) but S1 is still $35+.
