FREE 1 Month Subscription to Boston Globe

The idiots at the Boston Globe stepped on it in a big way a few months ago when they wrapped newspaper bundles for their paper carriers in wrappers that were really a huge list with all of their subscribers payment information. So lots of subscribers had their credit card or checking information blowing in the breeze from Boston to Worcester. The Globe made it up to these subscribers by giving them a free 1 year subscription to a credit guard service that monitors for unauthorized activity (how generous - sarcasm). But now they've come forward and are offering a whole whopping free month - either Sunday only or even the full 7 day subscription.

Here's the link: www.bostonglobe.com/free
Expires June 2, 2006

Luckily, they aren't even asking for a credit card. Be sure to use a bogus name or just initials, just in case they have another brainfart. The guys running the Globe are complete morons, but hey, a free paper is a free paper. That's pretty much what it's worth....

Enjoy!

Thanks! I live in Seekonk, which is near Rhode Island, and I always thought I was out of their delivery zone.

How would changing your zip to an incorrect one cause them to deliver to your address that is outside their delivery area? Don't you think the guy on the truck would figure it out? Why waste their time, and yours?
