Is this a clip show with little to NO new footage? They need to show a damn clip show everytime there is a new episode since it is so long between new episodes. Kinda odd to show it now as we have seen about 4 new episodes in the last 6 or 7 weeks.

Enough with the muh-fuggin' clip shows, already.
Jesus, Saturday Night Live is going to do a lame sketch about them if they're not careful.
Before next season starts, maybe they'll show a clip show that condenses the previous clip shows.

I don't see the big deal.
The fact is, we're getting 22 new episodes a year.
Whether they stretch that out with reruns, or clip shows, or Paper Mache with Celebrities, it doesn't matter.
We're still getting 22 episodes.

Also, cdollaz, we're actually getting the same number of episodes this year as last year. Last year was actually 24 and this year is 23. The only reason they had the extra last year is because the pilot was cut in half.

It does matter, Because there are so many frigging story lines, and they skip around so frigging much, its tiresome.
Just do it like 24, and play them back to back.

Back to back would make a 6-7 month hiatus instead of a 3-4 month hiatus.
If you have trouble remembering multiple storylines, won't you retain more over 3 months instead of 6?!?
24's seasons are much more isolated and don't carryover storylines like Lost. You don't need to retain knowledge over a long break. You're comparing apples to oranges.

SHOCKER :
A LOST thread where posters are debating the scheduling of the show!!!!!
I never thought I'd see the day.
The show's scheduling is this season's rant flavor the way the "They don't answer enough questions" rant was last season's.
Enjoy!

I think 11-11 would be ideal, but I'm not one to complain about this issue most of the time. In fact, the only show that has really thrown me with its scheduling this year is Everybody Hates Chris, not LOST.

Looks like Ana Lucia and Libby were tipping the sauce too much. And Ana did a week in Jail for it.

With all the fuss about scheduling, I took a couple minutes to compare Lost's air dates to those of 2 very popular shows on other networks. While I admit that the scheduling drives me nuts with Lost, I'm thinking it's because I'm used to watching cable series that just air their episodes back to back. Without cheating, see if you can guess which of these is Lost, based on how this season has aired, up through this week:
1. 3 episodes - 4 weeks off - 5 episodes - 1 weeks off - 1 episode - 3 weeks off - 1 episode - 3 weeks off - 3 episodes - 1 weeks off - 1 episode - 2 weeks off - 5 episodes
2. 5 episodes - 1 week off - 4 episodes - 1 week off - 1 episode - 3 weeks off - 1 episode - 1 week off - 4 episodes - 2 weeks off - 2 episodes - 2 weeks off - 3 episodes - 1 week off - 1 episode
3. 5 episodes - 2 weeks off - 4 episodes - 5 weeks off - 3 episodes - 1 week off - 2 episodes - 1 week off - 1 episode - 2 weeks off - 4 episodes - 2 weeks off

Spoiler:
I hate this scheduling for any show, I still think ER is the worst, but with a show like Lost, long waits will kill the audiance and it is hell to watch as a fan. I wish all shows would run either straight through (my favorite) like 24, The Shield (or any fx show) or HBO shows, or split in half like USA and Sci-Fi shows.

The critic in the San Francisco Chronicle made a comment this morning about it being another Clip show. He was not happy.
I'm surprised this hasn't lost more viewers over the season kinda like Commander in Chief.
They still dont answer enough questions this season. How far has the story advanced this season?
