My friend will definitely be interested in that. His TV is starting to go out and he wants to replace it. I'm trying to convince him to go for a Widescreen HDTV with HDMI inputs so that he doesn't have to upgrade again when the HD-DVD/Blu-Ray war settles down.

Heads up: Independence Day is the "Limited" Edition not the 5 Star Edition. In this case "Limited" translates into "Limited by only a few million and then some."

Limited = 1 disc with theatrical and extended cut.
5 Star = 2 disc with same 1 disc and bonus disc with extras.

Swap the names "Limited Edition" for "10th Anniversary Edition" and you got what will be the "newer" version. Oh, and snap.... the ones I noticed as of lately have the BIG actor head effect on the cover - in this case its a BIG head shot of Will Smith and the rest of the cover trying to be a cheesy knockoff of that "War Of The Worlds" Tom Cruise dreck.
