Pre-order delivery estimate from Amazon?

I just pre-ordered The Paul Morrissey Collection and it's telling me my order has a delivery estimate of May 25, 2006. Well the item is supposed to be released April 25. Is this just a mistake? Do pre-orders always have such long delivery estimates? Is this correct or just an error?

Amazon's estimates are always wildly off. Mostly preorders for me ship on Sunday or Monday, and arrived Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. And that's with Free Shipping.

Ditto. Most likely you'll receive it within the week of its release. Otherwise, a call to Amazon will usually get it straighten out.

Actually, Image bumped the street date for The Paul Morrissey Collection to May 23, 2006. Delayed one month.

Yeah I agree with the posts above. I get my stuff within two days of them shipping instead of those ludicrous dates.
