I was so let down by the few 70s/80s TV shows I did purchase I stopped buying them. They seem so slow, dated and corney (in a bad way). I think they will eventually almost start giving them away. Most die-hard fans already have them, at least the first season and studio's are making deals to get rid of the rest of the seasons. None of them will be in HDTV or Blue-Ray because the tapes are so poor. I find them in the reseller market all the time.
