Alias -- "S.O.S." & "Maternal Instinct" -- 04.19.2006
"S.O.S." & "Maternal Instinct"
In the two-hour return event, featuring the episodes "S.O.S." and "Maternal Instinct," Jack calls on former Agent Weiss and the APO team to search for Sydney after receiving a distress call from her. But Jack believes that a larger conspiracy may be in play, thwarting their attempts to rescue her. Meanwhile, Tom's suspicious actions may suggest he has a hidden agenda, Irina Derevko is a surprise partner to Jack and a very pregnant Sydney on a mission to retrieve "The Horizon" - but her allegiances still remain in question -- and Sloane is forced to scramble when Devlin suspects a mole is working inside APO.

Interesting coincidence that this week's first ALIAS episode has the same episode title as last week's LOST.
I just hope we get some major returns in these final episodes. I know there are a few (no thanks to that EW article), but I definitely would like Weiss to come back for a last hurrah and Quentin Tarantino's McKenas Cole - though that is least likely to happen but would ROCK!
Now I just need to stay away from ABC's spoiler-riddled promos until the end!

I will say this. I have had my DVR for almost a year, and it has yet to lie to me yet...

Kendall won't be around and I dont think Tarantino will either. There's only 8 episodes left and they are leaving room for the Real Favorites including
I don's see how they can do it all in 8 episodes but it will sure be fun seeing if they can.

I was also a little surprised to see Amy Acker make the opening credits.
The first hour was above average, Jack is still hard core badass, taking out the mole in the CIA. It was good to see Weiss again. Rachel ran really hard into that door...bad Marshall!
Looks like Tom Grace is also a mole.
It was disappointing to see how gullible Sydney was towards Irina. At least Sydney shouldn't have any disillusionment about her mother now. I doubt Irina ever thought she'd be helping with the delivery of Sydney's child while recovering the horizon.
So, it seems that Sydney and Jack were responsible for the death of Vaughn cover story to keep him out of harm's way for now.
Can't believe there are only 5 episodes left...

Good two hour episode. The escape from the CIA facility was exciting though we knew they all would make it out just fine.
Glad that the baby is out so that big mama can get back in full running action (and hopefully, less crying).

Well, tonights episode reminded me of the good times with this show...And its been said many a time before, but I would be all over a show with Jack and Marshall teaming up.
