I just bought last years mlb 2006 for ps2. I was wondering what else was released this year for the ps2 in terms of baseball games and what you'd recommend. I noticed that ea sports only released ncaa baseball this year what happend?

Take 2 is the only third party that can release baseball games with the MLB license. First party games are excluded so Sony can still make theirs, but EA is out of luck. Personally I thought MLB06 the show was amazing, but at worst its a very good baseball game and I would recommend it over MLB 2K6 which I played about 20 minutes and was not impressed at all with.
