Haven't seen this posted yet.
I wasn't too impressed with Faceless, but this new one sounds pretty good so far. Its got a slightly different sound to it I think.
Track Listing:
1. Livin In Sin
2. Speak
3. The Enemy
4. Shine Down
5. Hollow
6. No Rest For The Wicked
7. Bleeding Me
8. Voodoo Too
9. Temptation
10. Mama
11. One Rainy Day

From what I've heard, it sounds like Godsmack. Not a bad thing, especially since the AIC overtones are still there.
I imagine I will pick it up, as well as see them on tour. I know the girlfriend likes them a lot.

NEW CD/BIO:
From their roots in the Boston area, Godsmack built a strong following in the New England scene of the late 1990s.
The success of their first headlining venture, "The Voodoo Tour," coupled with high record sales and growing numbers of fans, landed them on Ozzfest 1999 and 2000.
More well-received CDs and successful tours followed and ultimately paved the way for their latest effort.
IV features the straight-ahead rocker "Speak," and finds the band pushing new boundaries with the moody, Zeppelin-like "Hollow," and the bluesy "Shine Down."

I actually got a copy of the album a couple weeks ago, and it is not as heavy as previous albums, it is going to take time to get used too. But hey a Rob Zombie, Godsmack and Tool album coming out all within a month and a half of each other, it just does not get better than that.

Picked this up today & it sounds pretty good. Only had a chance to listen to it once but so far, so good.
I went for the free T-shirt at CC which was also a buck less. I figure the other 2 songs will be available for download eventually. For those who got them, are they any good?
By the way, the T-Shirt looks good & is pretty nice but they only had Xtra Large in size. I know we are becoming a nation of fat-asses but come on...why not go in the middle of the road with a large size. The XL is pretty damn big on me and I'm not even a small guy.

As for the new album, man it ROCKS! I've loved Godsmack for years and this CD ranks up there as one of their best. I seriously can't wait to hear these songs live. Come on, announce US tour dates already!

I'm digging this. they really sound recharged, a problem with Faceless was it sounded lyrically and musically tired. No filler. Really good rocking sounding tracks.
Glad they're back (with a new album).
