Thanks for the update, ericn101. It's funny that they don't have the WS version of M&MS available for $7, since that is the picture that they use in their ad. It might be useful for a PM at another store though.

I just bought widescreen mr and mrs smith and fantastic four for 7 dollars in wa state. The 7 dollar price tag was under the widescreen ones at my store..These titles and kingdom of heaven and robots are eligible for the fox buy 5 dvds get 20 dollars or buy fewer for 10 and 5 dollars manufacturers rebates which expires on 4/30

I was just going by the sale tags on the shelf, $7 for FF $19.99 for WS. Funny that $19.99 would even get a sale tag. I didnt scan the items. Already have these anyways, as I'm sure most folks do, but I was hoping to find more than just four titles.

I'm not sure what Meijer is, but Fred Meyer is a Kroger-owned chain with stores in a few NW states.

The rebate form is enclosed in most of the titles. You need to cut the tiny proof off the insert of the dvd inside the case. you need the receipts. But five titles at seven dollars each is only 35 dollars and you get 20 dollars back if you send in by 4/30/06. A few other titles not in sale like arrested development season 2 and some others count.

FYI, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Napolean Dynamite and Kingdom of Heaven have SEs coming out, with Kingdom being an uber SE with director's cut and the works. Robots seems to be a given for future SE too.

I HATE buying dvds at Fred Meyer, their stupid stickers on slipcovers almost never come off all the way, and ruin the slipcover. I was there today, and was going to buy Robots and Fantastic Four, but the sticker was of course on the slipcover.

I've never had a problem removing the stickers. You just have to go slowly and carefully. I've never damaged a single slipcover getting the stickers off. I also like buying there because they have very hassle-free returns.

I got the sticker off the slipcover of Fantastic Four (WS) with no problem!
