SNL, MadTV, Chappelle: has this skit been done?

Have any skit shows ever poked fun at the McDonaldland characters? For example, there was a family guy skit where the Cookie Monster was in rehab for his addiction. Well, I'm wondering y'all can remember an instance where any show has ever spoofed the line-up of McDonaldland characters (Ronald, Hamburglar, Grimace, etc).

SNL once did this Star Wars skit addressing ET as one of the races. So in Episode II they were looking at adding more races to the Jedi Council including Mayor McCheese.

I was just wondering if any of the skit shows have done a version of Avril Lavigne's song, So Long for my Happy Ending, but set in a massage parlor.

As for the original question, I can't remember any McDonaldland character spoofs.

Wasn't there something a short while ago with mayor McCheese answering questions and the hamburgler interrupts witl "robble robble".

I want to say it was Family Guy, but I don't recall for sure.

I think it was the Clerks Cartoon.

October 10th, 1981: Saturday Night Live did a parody of "McMillan & Wife" (Susan Saint James was the guest host) called "McDonald & Wife" where Joe Piscopo played Ronald.

Close, it was an episode of Robot Chicken. Mayor McCheese is giving a press conference and someone asks him about inappropriate pictures. He doesn't know what to say and the hamburgler bursts on the scene saying "robble, robble" and taking Mayor McCheese offstage.

The Hamburglar showed on NewsRadio once. It doesn't have anything to do with the topic, but it was pretty funny.

I think he actually showed up either two or three times. Once was during the song Matthew writes that has him as an illustration. Another time involves smashing coffee pots. The final time is in the security door episode if I'm not mistaken (though the coffee pots may have been there too).

The Man Show had a skit where they had the "icons" of men, and one of them was Grimace. Partway through the show, they cut to the backstage saying there was a disturbance. The camera went into a room and you saw that Grimace had eaten the Pilsbury Dough Boy.

I'd have to hunt around and find it, but a friend and I did a "where are they now?" series about the McDonald Land characters that got some good laughs from people.

AHA! McDonaldland characters - where are they now?

Professer:Professer was ultimately thrown out of McDonaldland after repeated attempts on using Birdie as a test subject. It went from heat sheild tests to inserting a transmitter up her rectum for better radio reception.Upon his removal from that Fantasyland of fast-food,He landed a job as a roadie for the Allman Brothers during their first reunion attempt. He became addicted to smack and went through many years of rehab. In early 1991,he went and became a very successful businessman in the adult entertainment field. He now owns a mansion, and quite ironically, finaincally backed one of the lawyers who sued McDonald's in the infamous hot-coffee incident.

Captian Crook:Was Killed in the New York neighborhood of Sesame Street in early 1981,while on a Goodwill mission. The suspects at the time was the duo of Bert and Ernie, who were later cleared of any wrong doing. The reports say that while preforming a skit of his adventures on the seas,he drew his wooden sword and was shot through the heart, killing him instantly. He was shot a total of five times, two at close range. It was later revealed the the cuprit was none other than Prairie Dawn, whom Crook had a sexual encounter with. The result of that union was none other than the most famous of the people who lived on Sesame street...........Elmo.

Big Mac the policeman: was promoted to mayor upon the death of Mayor McCheese(See Next Entry). He retired in late 1983 to West Palm Beach with his girlfriend of seven years. His girlfriend Dawn McAllester died in 1989 giving birth to their first child, who also didn't make it during childbirth. The Tabloids tried to make the story a nationwide sensation, but Mac pulled the strings he had made while Mayor to halt any thing to be published. He now is a avid outdoorsman and a born-again christian.

Mayor McCheese: Died in office of natural causes in 1979.His Body was placed in a glass casket in front of McDonaldland Square. His body was stolen in 1993 and held for ransom. It was later recovered in the rest area off of I-75 near Clio Mi.It was then placed back in it's place of honor, and there are guards who keep a 24 hr vigil for one of McDonaldlands true heroes. The guards are no other than McDonaldland's crack suicide squads.......the Fry Guys.

Hambuglar:Was replaced by his son in late 1987 while he went through Prostate surgery. He was also arrested in a Beastiality porn ring which brought down among others:Statler and Waldorf, Fozzy Bear,J.Wellington Wimpy, and Foghorn Leghorn. He now resides in Attica State Prison in poor health. His son has all but Disowned him.McDonald's INC has conveniatly swept all knowledge of his whereabouts under the rug.

Uncle O'Grimacy, Grimmace's uncle that used to push Shamrock Shakes - missing since the late 70's, it's rumoured that he met a suspiscious fate at the hands of his nephew. Grimace was recently revealed to have cannibalistic tendancies on Comdy Central's The Man Show, when he ate the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

The Fry Guys / Gals - Rumoured to be involved in the underground snuff video industry. Fry Gal #2 left the group in 1998, and is supposedly in a witness protection program at this time.

CosMC from the early palstic space ship-shaped happy meals - Sadly enough, CosMc was mistaken for a happy meal casing, and was stuffed w/ a hamburger and fries. In an incident of severe irony, it was found that he was deathly allergic to McDonald's food, and died almost immediately. The child that the happy meal was given to spent years in therapy.

Mac Tonight - Mac tragically ran afoul of Frank Sinatra, and was never heard from again. Attempts by McDonald's to look into his disappearance were "discouraged" by Mr. Sinatra's "entrouage."

And what about Speedee, the original mascot - Well, Speedy retired shortly after Ronlad McDonald came on the scene. He became a drifter for several years, never staying in one town very often.... mainly because the homeless people were always hunting him down for a meal. He was later rumoured to be in the company of Charles Manson, but has now taken up residence in one of the few places it is safe for him - in a compound full of vegetarians.

I ask because my buddy has to shoot a narrative short for one of his film classes, and he's asked me to help him out. His idea is to portray a dark underbelly to McDonaldLand. The Hamburglar is a drug addict who steals burgers to feed his habit. Grimace turns tricks in dirty truckstop bathrooms for $5 a pop. Kind of "Requiem for a Dream" meets McDonaldLand. The first thing to ask, of course, is if the idea is blatantly ripping off any skit shows (even though the inspiration didn't come from that, you still don't want to run with an idea that somebody might've already seen elsewhere).

Aside from a similar tone in the Robot Chicken spoof, it looks like we're all clear. Thanks to everybody for your help.
