Hell yeah. I almost forgot this was on tonight. Last week's episode was great. Thanks for the reminder.

I hope they do. I'd rather see it replaced with a Terrance & Phillip special.

The promos for tonight's episode have, as far as I can tell, only featured footage from last week's episode - no new footage whatsoever. Part of me wonders if there is some sort of gimmick about to happen, a la Terrence & Phillip.

Hope not. I'm really interested in Part Two being what we were told it would be.

I still haven't watched last weeks episode (I am falling behind on a few shows), but I can't wait to check it out. I might wait until after this airs, so I can watch them all at one sitting.

Well, I guess now we watch to see where this is going.

It looks like it's a non-continuation continuation.

ETA: Nope, just them poking fun at themselves. Nice.

This first amendment argument is baseless since it's not the government doing any censoring, but the corporations doing self-editing.

Wasn't the question about the President forcing the writing staff to stop it? That would surely be state action.

This is great so far.

Yeah, but the whole greater point is how tv executives don't believe in the first amendment. And how people complaining infringes the writers' rights.

I don't think the argument is quite what you're making it out to be. I think it's that the government has recognized a broad right to free speech within the first amendment and that it sucks that certain media outlets feel the need to censor themselves out of a fear of the reaction. I don't think the argument is that the media outlets can't do what they're doing -- it's that it sucks.

Was that removal by Comedy Central part of the actual episode, or was that for real?

I don't know, but it kind of makes my head hurt thinking about it. That episode folded in on itself so many times it was crazy.

It's kind of a shame that wasn't the end of South Park because I can't imagine it going out on any higher a note at any point in the future. I really dug that episode.

I liked how the King of Hill guys were just quietly minding their own business, doing their own thing.

I think they kind of had to dumb-down the concept of "free-speech" relative to censorship. Ask your average Joe, the majority of people love throwing around the word "censorship" without actaully knowing what it means. If you're not allowed to say something, your're obviously being censored, which of course is incorrect.

Great episode! It's all or nothing.

Heh, I was thinking the same thing. Grunter should be happy considering he wrote half a dozen of the lines in tonight's episode.

I agree completely, but it will be fun to watch them try.
