Circuit City - Mission Impossible Collector's Set
Hey guys - on the HTML weekly ad for Circuit City (April 9th Circular) - mouse over the Mission Impossible Collector's set - $16.99 - when you click on it - it shows up for $12.99. Try to order one and see if you get it - it would also be sweet if the shipped copies brought the $12 in moviecash.

Went into Circuit City for the MI Special Collector’s Edition boxset. Customer Service checked me out for the price of $12.99, they just looked it up online and rang it up. Also has movie ticket inside. Awesome price!

Cool..thanks OP. I was planning on heading to CC after work, but for the $15 total, it saved me the gas and time by ordering it online. Very pleased.

I'll just save a few bucks AND it'll be delivered to my door, if this goes through.
Sweet!

And FWIW, Newbury Comics in New England has the first MI, anamorphic!!, for a mere $9.99! Since there is really nothing of any substance that is new on MI2, with the movie cash, the single disc MI was a nice buy!

Now that's funny. Isn't the movie cash like $10 or so?
Let's see ... $12.99 - $10.00 = $2.99 / 2 = $1.49 per DVD.

Buying the original M:I & M:I 2? ...$15
Selling the original M:I & M:I 2? ...$20
Buying the new set pricematched at CC? ....$13.77 (or priceless)
Seriously though...went down to CC. Walked over to the DVD section. Grabbed a M:I set. Brought it up to the service desk. Cashier rang it up, told me the total. I asked her how much it rang up as. She told me, then I told her how much it was online and that I tried to order it there for in-store pickup, but it wouldn't let me do it. She went over to (what i'm assuming was) the computer next to the register. Entered it in as $12.99. Cost me $13.77 out the door.
I also thought my amusing anecdote helped too. League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen was on the TV directly behind me. Sean said the word "ass" and the cashier commented about there being another swear word on TV. I told her that everybody and their cousin's heard/used the word "ass". She told me that she's had mothers come over to complain. I said "I got THAT beat. When I used to work at a videostore, a co-worker of mine would ALWAYS put on "Goodfellas". And TWO things never failed. One, that he'd leave once Joe Pesci went on one of his "f-this, f-that" tirades. Two, as he was leaving, he'd hold the door for a family walking in...

Even though I already have MI 2, given the cheapest price on MI 1 was $12.99 it made sense to get the pack at CC for the same price. I wonder how much trade-in credit I'll get for MI 2 at the Wherehouse?
Well, I'm glad this deal was posted. Unfortunately it didn't come before I already bought MI by itself at BBY, so I'll be returning that one.
The only bummer of this is the MI 3 movie ticket is not good at AMC Theaters next door, so I've got to drive an extra 5 miles to go to a smaller Harkins.
