Due to the pending lawsuit, audio dubs were made to differentiate Smallville from Superboy.
Beginning with tonight's episode, the main character is now Kent Clarkson.

I know I'm going to get in trouble for asking this question, but does there really exist such a technology that radio-tracks college students by their ID cards?
And how in the heck did Lana fall so far so fast from the end of the previous episode?
And how is it that Clark can suddenly be pierced by a syringe needle?
My head is spinning with this episode. Hey, at least
is around!

Wasn't this a riff on "Flatliners"? Lana looked pretty haggard throughout most of the episode, not my favorite look on her.
The most interesting stuff happened when the characters are dead, how whacked is that?
It was good to see Jonathan again, the show really misses his presence.
There will be (or are) RFID scanners being used by places like Wal-Mart to speed up the checkout process that the registers. No need to optically scan the barcode, the RF scanners read the RFID tag and records the item being bought. Can't see why this technology could be used for other purposes in terms of tracking where someone with a RFID using it to gain access through certain doors of buildings.

Yay! I learned TWO things tonight!
And I agree about Jonathan. It's a REAL shame they didn't kill Lana instead..
- Dying neutralizes a direct injection of liquid kryptonite [no matter HOW diluted]
- Porshes aren't the only things equipped with GPSs.

LOVE the look of Clark running to Honduras.
The Lex glove reference was great.
Pa Kent is AWESOME! (yup, shoulda killed Anal)
Lionel's last "Clark" was better acting than anyone else's whole part in this ep.
This show is on the verge of going very wrong. If the shyte really does hit the fan from now on, it could be great. If more makeup/breakups happen, I'm out.

Lex and Lana 4ever!
I thought this was a fantastic episode. It was awesome to see Pa Kent back and Lionel putting on the moves with Ma Kent.
"Don't you look dashing"
"Standing next to you, I'm just a man in rags."
Smooth man!
All the alternate realities scenes were great. Pa Kent's dialogue abou Clark being a symbol for peace and justice brought me goosebumps. Wonder what the message Lex's mom was telling him. Who could he kill? Lana?
It had the kryptonite cocktail.

It was great to see Jonathan Kent again. I felt his death a few episodes back didn't offer any closure for Clark accepting his destiny. I really thought he would give some last words of wisdom before passing, but that was made up for in tonight's episode.
I'm trying to figure out if Lex was lying to Lana (about his mother being proud of the man he was becoming) or if he interpreted it as a motivation to continue his path down the dark side.

Many of you may not agree but this is top two episode of the year for me in terms of progressing the story and just all kinds of shit happening.
For me, seeing Pa Kent brought goosebumps down my spine. I really felt for Clark when that happened. As brought up earlier, it was nice to see him get some closure and gve Clark some final words of advice (unless Pa Kent appears in a dream or something again)
Look at that suave Lionel making his moves. Major player right there.
Loved the black glove reference in Lex's flashback.
Anybody see the previews for next week? Looks pretty good....hopefully.

He did get his hand back, but made a deal with the devil (...of sorts.)
He also became president of the United States, but was removed from office after a series of events in the Superman/Batman comic book.

Mixed feelings on this episode, but overall, not bad. Just about everything other than the main Lana storyline was good. That dude dying on the bone cutter was just damn funny! And he didn't even find out about Clark's powers! D'oh!
The ending sequence with Clark and Lana - was there a music track that wasn't put in? It seemed very weird to hear just the slight background noise, and then it just silently goes to credits! Odd...

Anyone else notice Clark is using some mousse in his hair, it looks like the hair and makeup people actually combed it for a noticeable part from his left to right, instead of him having this big mop of hair for most of the season.

Here, the end of the episode was interrupted by a weather report.
What happened?
The last thing I saw was Lana going to see Lex, then a severe weather update, then Clark was walking away from Lana, and the ep ended.

Flatliners dude sure ain't no Jack Bauer. Leaving the syringe in Lex with his fingerprints all over it was smooth too.

Because this is Smallville. That's how things are written on this show.

Oh, I'm fully aware of that. Even for Smallville, this seemed like a drastic turnabout - but it's more of a filler episode than anything.
