How good is Toys R Us on stocking animated flicks like Disneys, Anime (mainstream, like Miyazaki), etc? And, traditionally, how are they priced?

I really don't know. I only procured this ad because another forum member asked me to see about a Toy R Us B1G1 board game sale (which they don't seem to be having this year).

There also seems to be a good number of video game deals inb this ad: 2 for $30 , B1G1 Free, 2 for $25, etc.

I may end up posting the games.

My thinking was if someone was going there for say Pampers, they might be able to use a gift card and carve a decent DVD deal out of it.

Hopefully a Toys R Us expert will materialize here.

My local TRUs carry both widescreen and fullscreen for a lot, if not most, titles. Of course, a large portion of their inventory is Disney animated classics, which are mostly presented in OAR-only anyways.

$20 for most titles... B2g1 will bring down to 13.333333 which is about $15 each with taxes, ouch.

Toys R Us carries both full screen and widescreen. Just usually more fullscreen. Prices are usually $19.99. They have stopped carrying special editions such as the the 2-discs of Narnia, King Kong and Harry Potter. And rarely get boxed sets in either. They do carry a lot of disney titles, and a few Miyazaki titles. Though they will have childrens anime titles such as Yugi-Oh and Pokemon. As far as I know it is a company wide policy not to price match any more, but YMMV. And I do know that for those in the Knoxville, TN area there is a 20% off coupon in the Knoxville school coupon book.
