Today 3/4/06, the region 2 DVD of The Nun's Story issued by Warner's, went on sale exclusively to the HMV chain. This morning I went out intending to purchase it, but when I arrived at the store and picked a copy up from the shelf, I noticed on the cover that it was presented in 4.3 full frame (needless to say I put it back on the shelf). On the other hand the region 1 DVD is advertised as having a 1.78:1 widsreen ratio (according to DVD beaver). Anyhow, what I would like to know is, if anyone has obtained the region 2 release can they tell me if there has been a typing error on the cover and it is therefore in it's correct OAR or is it a crappy pan & scan version If it has been released in full screen Warner's ought to be burned at the stake!
